About the Author

Political persuasions aside, I find the world's financial markets very interesting. I'm interested in array of asset classes. Following debt markets,  I decided to write a dissertation on microfinance/credit in Bangladesh and its effect on women - I have found it interesting that in the same way debt has managed to both enslave and liberate in the developed world, the developing world - or a microcosm of it - is actually no different even at a grassroots level. I enjoy observing and analyzing the world markets, although am not necessarily too well qualified yet (though in a field where most of the 'experts' are overwhelmingly proved wrong, I figure my guess is as good as the next person's). This blog primarily focuses on macroeconomics and world markets, but will also discuss some equity trade ideas now and again (if I have any).

I studied Economic History at the London School of Economics, and currently study by a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics by distance learning. I enjoy education towards a more holistic understanding of the world (although not necessarily a huge fan of overly institutionalized/rigid schooling). In this blog, I try to rationalize beyond what we are offered by the media.
